The Diversity Mark
The Diversity Mark was launched in 2014 to create a focus on inclusion and better diversity practice in education. Our framework has the aim of improving educational practice and outcomes. We use diversity and inclusion as our tools to achieve these aims.
The Diversity Mark is specific to education. Our framework is used across Early Years, Schools and Colleges and is awarded at 4 levels of achievement, progressing from Bronze, Silver, Gold to Centre of Excellence. The Diversity Mark is based on a proven framework for improving outcomes. 100% of our partners achieving our Gold Award are rated as Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.
But the standard is not about ratings or ticking boxes. it’s about a core belief in inclusion and diversity as central to educational practice. The Diversity Mark logo signifies a network of members, committed to inclusion, sharing best practice and collaborating across sectors. Each setting uses the Diversity Mark logo to show a commitment to developing inclusive practice and improved educational outcomes. Members are also able to access a range of benefits including INSET, CPD, partnerships with other international schools and other support.
